2. Main Objectives: Overall management of the Kongsberg Americas Powertrain and Chassis division with full P&L responsibility, including; but not limited to, manufacturing, engineering, program management, sales & marketing and business development activities.
3. Area of Responsibility
Sets vision for overall team to achieve objectives for the business.
Drives communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes
Leads four P&C plants in Americas coupled with leading multifunctional Managers and Directors located primarily in Novi, MI total headcount is approximately 1900
Meet Key Performance Indicators with passion to exceed results
Preparing and presenting analysis/reports & providing business recommendations from operations point of view
Prepare budgets for approval
Analyse operations to evaluate performance of team members meeting objectives or determine areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement, or policy change.
Responsible to manage product design, development, validation and other document, validation, sales, production, after service and support for P&C products within the Americas region

Execute all applications, assignments, affiliates and other documents and take such other actions as the Company may require in order to evidence, prove or secure the Company's or affiliates rights, full and exclusive title and interest in proprietary information, whether during the term as Executive Vice President /General Manager of the Company or thereafter upon reasonable request by the Company
Comply with authorities and instructions adopted by the Company's Board of Directors, or its Chairman.
Requires up to 40% travel. Frequent travel is outside the local area and overnight. Some travel is international.
4. Personal: OverseeingKA Powertrain and Chassis Americas division by working with executive
management team to establish long- range goals, strategies, formulates policies to ensure win-win compromise. Deliver annual revenue and profit as directed by the P&C President and validated by the Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Maintain the sales and profit at operations in line with budget and rolling forecast and long-term plan.
Locate, train and retain key personnel
Fill the product pipeline with new, innovative products to grow the business
Meet or exceed business metrics
Effective management of inventory reduction plans
Implement production and sales planning to enable level loading of factory manufacturing
Champion strategic business development
Champion the development of the lean culture for complete site adherence
Meet all objectives related to the Scorecard established for operational unit.

8. Competence profile
Bachelor degree in engineering or business and 10+ years of experience, knowledge and skills in field. Master’s degree preferred.
Multiple plant management
Strong leadership skills. Able to motivate, influence, coach and train team members
