Key Account Manager

A vacancy has arisen within the Off-Highway Construction and Agricultural market segment of Specialty Products, for a Key Account Manager. This position will report to the Segment Director, and will be responsible for major accounts in Scandinavia and Europe.

Role description

Your main objectives as Key Account Manager are to increase KA sales, develop customer plans, develop marketing strategies that support new product development and develop 5-year plans that show the KA position and needs. Some of you main responsibilities are:

  • Make Market/Customer plans
  • Carry out Marketing and Sales activities
  • Initiate cost reduction programs
  • Negotiate prices
  • Make offers, agreements and contracts
  • Contribute actively to increase competitiveness
  • Build customer networks
  • Transmit customer voice into KA Group
  • Develop market opportunities to increase sales
  • Lead the quotation process

Candidate profile

We believe that you have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing or similar. You have previous experience of the sales role and it is an advantage if you have knowledge of the automotive or industrial sector. Fluent in English, both verbal and written, is a requirement.

As a person, you have strong interpersonal skills, which makes it natural for you to lead and work within cross-functional teams on a global basis. Your personal drive and ability to communicate makes it easy for you to obtain and maintain strong relations both internal and external. We believe that you are entrepreneurial and result-oriented and make quick decisions based on a combination of experience as well as advice from other people. You are a calculated risk taker with the ability to think clearly under pressure and remain focused on the key objectives and strategies.
